| Residents of Fulwood will have noticed that the old clock which used to hang from a bracket on the front wall of the former Fulwood Urban District Council (UDC) offices, at the junction of Garstang Road and Watling Street Road, has gone. The last we heard of it was in spring 2009 when one of the men working on the conversion of the offices to an Italian restaurant told us the clock was being temporarily kept safe on the roof. Why didn't the clock go back on the wall? Where is it now? Has a small piece of local heritage gone for good? |
