North of Preston Flower
Club, which is affliliated to the NAFAS (National
Association of Flower Arranging Societies), meets
on the third Wednesday of each month (except August)
at St. Martin's Hall, Broadway, Fulwood at 2.15
pm.
The meetings consist of a flower arranging demonstration
given by an Area or National Demonstrator followed
by a raffle for the arrangements, which are all
stunning and well worth winning.
We have recently been on a trip with Lytham Flower
Club to the National Show at Harrogate and we hope
to have more trips next year.
New members and visitors are always welcome. Annual
subscriptions are £24 due in January. Visitors fee
£4. |

Dukes
theatre & cinema. Worth the journey. This Lancaster
based theatre has acquired a well-deserved reputation for
innovation and entertainment. We're big fans of the summer
outdoor productions in Williamson Park and the family Christmas
show is particularly popular. Lots of mainstream and independent
movie screenings.

David was killed in a tragic accident
in Salta, Argentina on New Year's Eve 2008. David's girlfriend,
Lydia, is from Fulwood and is a founding trustee. You may
